This photo was taken in 1901, right before Broche Lutsky left for Israel to spend her last years. Her husband had just died in David-Horodok. She was the mother of Razel Lutsky Eisenberg and grandmother of Bessie Davidson. Her righteous deeds brought her reknown in Israel as a tsaddik. She was buried on the Mount of Olives. Her grave was destroyed by the Palestinians, but restored by her Israeli relatives and can be seen today.
